I get so frustrated cooking, when I spend time making the meal and the next hour trying to force my kids to eat it!
So I started thinking... for my birthday my Mom bought me this..

It is all about hiding the veggies from your kids and putting them into foods they eat regularly. You do this by using vegetable purees. I have let this sit on the shelf for months thinking when do I have time to do this! Well Sami is eating a lot more now and I got a great deal on some sweet potatoes so I decided to puree them instead of buying the pre-packaged puree. I decided to also try the sweet potato pancakes for breakfast the next morning. I have to say the kids LOVED them and said they were the best pancakes they ever had. I didn't tell them what was in them. I will try being "deceptive" more often:)
Here is the recipe:
SWEET POTATO PANCAKES
1 cup water
1/2 cup sweet potato puree
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 cup pancake mix
nonstick cooking pray
syrup

I also LOVE Calvin and hobbes. that cartoon made me laugh. you'll have to post some of the good recipes.
That sounds like Tae, she doesn't like veggies. McKenna loves them. Green beans are her favorite food!!! The recipe book sounds interesting.
I'll have to try that recipe and sneak veggies into Jeremy's meals! haha...just kidding, he eats better than I do, much better!
That's brilliant. I hate when I spend an hour or two cooking a really nice for dinner, and the kids won't even touch it! The other night I wasn't feeling good, so the kids had pop tarts and oranges for dinner - they thought they were in Heaven... go figure.
