After two crazy busy days moving to OR and unpacking some of our storage units and getting settled into the apartment we took a break and headed for the OR coast with Misti.

Hunter and Ryan Whale watching at Depoe Bay

We climbed to the top of a light house and had "jelly legs" the rest of the afternoon.

It was a beautiful day to go to the coast, the weather was perfect.

The kids had a blast playing in the water and running from the waves...they were pretty soaked.

Every time a wave would get close to Sami she would run away somewhat in fear yelling "OH! OH! OH!", but she would always go back for more.

Ryan and Hunter started a new school (their 3rd school this year) Ryan was so excited that the night before he laid out his clothes, sock monkey and all...I thought it was funny...

BIG GIRL BED
Because we are in the apartment for now and with the new baby coming we decided it was time to start the transition to a big girl bed for Sami. She has surprised us once again...she has done GREAT. She cracks us up. Not once (knock on wood) since we have put her in her bed and own room has she come out. When it is bedtime she stays put! And in the morning we either hear her yelling for us (usually when she hears the boys get up)and she stays in her bed, or we hear a knocking on the door. The funny thing is she KNOWS how to open the door herself, but she waits for us to open the door for her so she can come out. It is AMAZING!! and a blessing...hopefully potty training will be as easy.

Sunday Afternoon walk...
We took the kids for a walk to see the pretty blossoms ( I don't think I have ever seen so many different kinds of blossoms in the spring, they are all over EVERYTHING)....Hunter was trying to teach Sami how to blow a dandilion...she ended up eating it.
