Ryan's Pinewood Derby

Ryan's first pinewood derby was this past week. Ryan has been dreaming of racing his first car ever since he saw Hunter race. Ryan LOVES Dodge Chargers, especially the police ones. So this is the car he decided to build. Luckily we were in UT for spring break so Grandpa McClanahan could help Ryan build his car. (we have no tools at home). Ryan enjoyed every minute of spending time with Grandpa in his shop making the car.


Ryan's car raced really well...he raced against all of the wolves from the 3 packs in his troop. Ryan won many of his races and he came in 1st from the wolves in our ward so he will be going to Districts and have a chance to race again. He got the certificate for the "Most Realistic Car". Ryan had such a GREAT time and is very excited! We also had the extra bonus of having grandma and grandpa Griffin and Uncle Brandon here to see Ryan race.
